Brian Proffitt is Senior Manager, Community Outreach within Red Hat’s Open Source Program Office, focusing on enablement, community metrics, and foundation and trade organization relationships–as well as the management of OSPO’s budget. Brian’s experience with community management includes knowledge of community onboarding, community health, and business alignment. He is currently serving as VP, Conferences and VP, Marketing & Publicity for the Apache Software Foundation. He is also a board member for Project CHAOSS.
