Principal Software Engineer
Dr. Tsz-Wo Nicholas Sze is a principal engineer at Cloudera. He is the PMC Chair of Apache Ratis and a PMC member of Apache Hadoop and Apache Ozone. He has been involved with Apache Hadoop and HDFS since 2007 and is one of the few early contributors still involved with the project. In 2016, he started the Apache Ratis project in order to support high availability and high performance write pipelines in Apache Ozone. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland College Park in 2007.
