Shailaja has extensive experience developing highly scalable distributed storage systems and microservices. She is currently working for Apple and contributing to Cassandra development. She worked on development of Teradata’s RDBMs filesystem, NetApp’s primary filesystem, EMC2’s backup filesystem, Microsoft Azure cloud’s backup and recovery, and explored startups for development for Hadoop and Flash filesystems. In addition to storage systems, she has experience on fintech as well, she worked on development of Uber’s revenue engineering and Bloomberg’s FX trading software
